Mora huddling with staff

Recently fired Detroit Lions head coach Rod Marinelli reportedly is in Seattle to meet with the Seahawks about joining Jim Mora's coaching staff.
Mora is scheduled to meet with the Seahawks coaching staff for the first time as head coach on Monday morning, and it appears change is already in the works.
There will be at least one staff change because tight ends coach Jim Lind is expected to announce his retirement. Lind, 61, came to Seattle in 1999 as part of Mike Holmgren's original staff with the Seahawks. Holmgren stepped down on Dec. 28, with Mora already appointed to succeed him as head coach.
The NFL Network reported Sunday morning that Marinelli had spoken with Seahawks president Tim Ruskell about the possibility of becoming the Seahawks defensive coordinator -- a job held the past three seasons by John Marshall -- and KCPQ/13 reported Sunday night that Marinelli is in Seattle.
Ruskell and Marinelli worked together while with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Marinelli, 59, coached the Lions for three seasons but was fired after they became the first NFL team to go 0-16. Before that, Marinelli spent 10 seasons with the Bucs.
There also has been talk that Marinelli could join the Chicago Bears staff, and the Detroit Free Press reported that Marinelli visited the Bears on Friday.
